Winter Wonderland Version # 2
At the Karen Margulis workshop Sunday we made painting surfaces from gatorfoam. This one was made from gaterfoam with a dark blue acrylic tint. The gesso and pumic mixture was applied in even strokes vertically and then horizontally. I tried to lighten this one to create more of the brightness of snow. Still working on creating shapes that are not uniform. I like this one better mainly because of the lighter color. It was more difficult to me to paint on this surface rather than a sanded paper.
